The new Orange iPhone 17 Pro and Apple iPhone 17 cosmic did not come as a total surprise during the falling event on Tuesday’s fear; Many leaks have alluded to the left -wing turn of the premium color. However, the vibrant shade marks a real departure from the deaf finishes of the previous combinations of iPhone Pro.
In a conversation with Apple’s world marketing chief, Greg Joswiak, and the main vice-president of the company engineering John Ternus (with the Global Guide to Tom’s Guide, the editor Mark Spoonauer), the pair of executives noted that the new colors are, in part, a direct product of anodized aluminum.

It is a lighter and more energy -efficient material which, thanks to anodization, supports a wider range of colors.
“For years, we have said that professional customers have said:” Hey, the other part of the line gets all the fun colors and we don’t “,” said Joswiak “, and it’s” okay, you want a fun color, what would you say about Cosmic Orange, baby “.”
It makes sense, because I too have heard that some apple consumers will complain that the choices of pro-line colors are boring. Orange is resolutely without work. On the other hand, many have noted the loss of an emblematic professional color which, on the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Cosmic Orange seems to have replaced: black or black. I asked Joswiak and Ternus, “When did Orange become the new black?”
“We have had different shades of black for years. We know that people want a dark,” said Joswiak, “we became deep blue, it’s beautiful.”
Joswiak added that he thought that the shadow is “fantastic”. He reminded me that classic money is always an option. “We think we have the bases covered there, and we feel really good about it.”
While Ternus and Joswiak did not go into the details of colored choices, Joswiak recalled their reaction when the “best conceptions of Apple on the planet” first revealed the new colors. “They showed us this, and we are like, yes, it’s great.”
And, yes, Ternus transports an iPhone 17 Pro Max to Cosmic Orange. It looks like pumpkin spices have a fresh autumn orange competition.
