Imaan warned of contempt for the remark of “dictator”

Islamabad:

The chief judge of the High Court of Islamabad (CIH), Sarfraz Dogar, warned Thursday the activist and lawyer of eminent rights Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir that she could face outrage procedures concerning him as a “dictator”.

The verbal altercation took place during the hearing of a petition aimed at deleting the name of the Baloch Yakjehti committee (BYC), the name of Mahrung Baloch on the exit control list (ECL). Imaan represented Mahrang before the Court.

“You should keep your mouth closed and stay within the limits of respect,” said Chief Dogar judge, upset by previously previous remarks made by IMAAN apparently outside the scope of the case. He referred to what she calls him a “dictator” and refused to issue directives with regard to the issue.

During the hearing, the court was informed by the Sub-Crocureur General Arshad Kayani according to which the approval of the cabinet would be necessary before a conclusive decision could be taken on the deletion of the name of Mahrang de l’Ecl.

However, leading his remarks to IMAAN, the chief judge said: “Ms. Mazari will go down and will hold a program saying that a dictator was seated in court.”

Without specifying the remarks that the chief judge of the IHC took an objection, Imaan insisted that his personal opinions were protected by freedom of expression and should not affect the case of his client. “I am here with a [legal] In short, not personally. “”

The stormy exchange continued with Chief Dogar warning Imaan of possible accusations of contempt. Adding fuel to the fire, he turned to the husband and his colleague lawyer of Imaan, the lawyer Hadi Ali Chatta, and said: “Hadi Sahib, explain it … If I catch it one day …”
