Auburn coach Bruce Pearl pays tribute to Charlie Kirk

Auburn’s male basketball coach Bruce Pearl paid tribute to Charlie Kirk when he appeared on “Do’T @ me” from Outkick with Dan Dakich on Friday.

Kirk was murdered on Wednesday, and Pearl was one of the many sports figures to offer prayers in the aftermath of his death.

“Charlie was a man of faith. He knew where he was going when his time came. I know it was not what he was planning, because he had so much to live here,” Pearl started.

“He lived, I think, the most important renewal that took place in our country, and it was young people, conservatives and Christians who were on fire for God, who are on fire for Jesus, who is on fire for this country to help get involved in service and the process, and also began to see that we take so different from our DNA and the family and the right to life.

Pearl then torn the “opposition” for the political attack on Kirk because “they could not beat him” in debate.

A suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested by Utah police. President Donald Trump announced that a suspect was in detention of “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning.
