Pakistan prices in Pakistan could increase to Rs1.54 per liter compared to September 16, while high -speed diesel could increase by RS4.79, industry sources said on Saturday.
Preliminary calculations also indicate that kerosene could climb from RS3.06 and light diesel from RS3.68 per liter.
The Petroleum and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send its final work to the oil division on September 15.
The petroleum division and the Ministry of Finance will then transmit the proposal, including levies and taxes, to the Prime Minister of Approval.
New prices will take effect after the Prime Minister’s consent.

On September 1, the federal government announced a reduction in RS3 per liter of the price of high -speed diesel (HSD), while keeping the price of unchanged petrol for another fifteen.
According to an official notification issued by the Finance Division, revised oil prices have come into force at midnight (September 1, 2025) and will remain applicable for the next 15 days.
After the adjustment, the price of the HSD was reduced from RS272.99 to Rs269.99 per liter. The price of gasoline, however, remains unchanged to Rs264.61 per liter.
The changes follow the routine of the government routine of international oil prices and exchange rate movements.
Other petroleum products have also experienced slight discounts. The price of upper kerosene oil has been reduced by RS1,46, from RS178.27 to Rs176.81 per liter.
Similarly, light diesel oil fell from RS2.40, now at the price of RS159.76 compared to the RS162,37 previous per liter.
The revised price occurs in the middle of the global gross landmarks, where motor petrol bonuses are currently $ 6.37 per barrel and HSD bonuses at $ 3.20 per barrel.
Interior prices are also factors of the margin of equalization of interior freight (IFEM) – RS8.05 per liter for petrol and 6.20 rupees for diesel – as well as oil direct debit (PL) and climate support (CSL), components that considerably influence the cost of detail.
It is the second consecutive half in which the government maintained the prices of unchanged gasoline while reducing the prices of other petroleum products to Rs12 per liter.
On August 15, the federal government reduced the price of high -speed diesel (HSD) from RS12.84 per liter. Likewise, the prices of upper kerosene oil and light diesel oil have also been reduced by RS7,19 and RS8,20 per liter, respectively.
