Lahore:
The federal government has decided that new consumers of national gas in Lahore will be provided by the regassified liquefied natural gas (RLNG), sources of the Ministry of Petroleum announced on Saturday.
According to managers, the RLNG price is linked to international gross oil rates, which makes it 2.5 to 3% more expensive than natural gas.
New connections will be issued in phases. Priority will be given to candidates who have already filed request notices, followed by those who have paid urgent fees. Applicants who have only submitted requests will be adapted to the third phase.
