- Zinwa Q27 imitates the Blackberry look with modern Android 16 software
- A 3.92 -inch AMOLED screen with a complete QWERTY keyboard
- Mediatek Dimensity 7300 and Mali-G615 MC2 feed the device
Zinwa Technologies prepares the Zinwa Q27, a smartphone that revives the appearance of classic blackberry devices.
This upcoming model deviates from reused equipment and offers instead a whole new design that closely imitates the BlackBerry aesthetics.
Its 3.92 -inch AMOLED screen offers a resolution of 1080 x 1240 with an appearance ratio 31:27, while a physical QWERTY keyboard is under the screen.
A modern touch on a classic design
By operating Android 16, the telephone aims to fill the nostalgia and modern features, although it is not ready for mass production before at least May 2026.
At the heart of the Zinwa Q27 is a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, with 4 CPU cortex-A78 cores operating at 2.5 GHz, 4 cores of Cortex-A55 and Mali-G615 MC2 graphics.
The inclusion of the Mediatek NPU 655 suggests a focus on AI -related tasks, while 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage indicate performance levels with mid -range mid -range.
Supporting a microSD card reader allows additional expansion, and the telephone has a Nano SIM location alongside ESIM capacity.
The Q27 includes a rear camera of 50 Mp and a 16MP front camera, as well as stereo speakers and support for WiFi 6th, Bluetooth 5.4 and 4G and 5G networks.
The battery options should be 3500 or 4000mAh, supported by a fast load of 33 W.
The accent put by Zinwa on maintaining a full keyboard can call on productivity -oriented users who appreciate tactile entry for messaging or Android applications that require frequent text entry.
The question of whether this form factor offers enough advantages compared to larger touch screens remains uncertain.
For a device evoking the old blackberry models, the combination of specifications aims to provide enough power for daily use, although it probably does not compete with the best smartphones on the market.
The Q27 signals a change for Zinwa, which previously modernized the existing blackberry equipment such as the Q25.
The company now plans to execute two ranges of parallel products: new devices such as Q27 and a series of “Blackberry Revival” models based on phones such as BlackBerry Q10 and passport.
