Nascar pilots honor Charlie Kirk

Nascar’s star Austin Dillon spoke of Richard Childrade Racing’s decision to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk after the conservative influencer was assassinated earlier in the week.

Dillon and the rest of the vehicles of his teammates presented a sticker on their cars with the words “in memory of Charlie Kirk 1993-2025”.

“First of all, it is a tragic incident where the life of a man was taken and he leaves behind two children and a woman,” said Dillon, via CBS Sports. “I look at his heroism when it comes to representing God. And I like some of his bible lessons, his ability to debate without really attacking someone.

“I thought it was just a very sad day and all I know is that it makes me want to penetrate more into the Bible and know more about Jesus and try to pass the word every time I can.”

Richard Childress’s racing drivers were part of the world of sport to honor Kirk after his death.

Christopher Bell devoted his victory in the Bass Pro Shops night race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.

“More importantly, this week was obviously a very difficult week. You know, there are a lot in our minds,” said Bell. “This one is for Charlie.”

Kirk was assassinated during an event at the University of Utah Valley. Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter, was arrested after a manhunt.
