Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made the city of Montecito more glamorous, explains a neighbor.
The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, who moved to California in 2020, live a “splendid” life alongside Hollywood A-Listers.
The couple’s neighbor, Richard Mineards, said Paris to here: “The community is waiting for them. They creak from the song. The stamp of a Duke and the Duchess. They live quite beautifully, it couldn’t be a more pleasant place.
“Here we have a lot of very rich and very famous people, and none of them has a safety like Sussex.”
He revealed: “There was even this anecdote of an elderly neighbor who wanted to give him a documentary that he had made on local history. The old man never exceeded the door.”
“She cultivates a very controlled image. She pays attention to each appearance, each word, each gesture. And here in Montecito, we appreciate simple people, even the famous,” he notes.
“Oprah Winfrey, for example, appears during charitable events. Meghan does not play community game,” explains the initiate.
