Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left on Monday for an official day visit to Qatar to attend the Arab-Islamic emergency summit in Doha.
The extraordinary meeting was summoned following Israeli air strikes on the Qatari capital, which left several dead, including senior figures from Hamas and a Qatari security official.
The attack, condemned throughout the Muslim world, increased fears of regional instability and underlined the growing aggression campaign of Israel.
According to the Foreign Office Declaration (FO), the summit will bring together leaders and senior officials from the Organization of the Member States of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which will deliberate on the regional crisis and formulate a joint strategy.
Managers should deliberate on a joint response, including requests for responsibility for Israeli war crimes, humanitarian access to Gaza and measures to dissuade additional violations.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif, the Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar and a special assistant to the Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi.
The Darrier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar is already in Doha, where he has held preparatory meetings and has revealed sweeping proposals to counter the “dangerous trend” of the uncontrolled attacks in Israel.
DAR has described a complete response of seven points to Israeli air strikes on Qatar. “Muslim states must unite behind concrete measures to hold responsible Israel,” he said, detailing the proposals which include the formation of a joint Arab-Islamic working group to dissuade the additional aggression, continuing the suspension of membership in the UN of Israel and the implementation of punitive measures by the Member States.
He also called for “an immediate and permanent cease-fire with prisoners’ exchanges”, guaranteeing unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza and revived a real political process aimed at a two-state solution.
Pakistan strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Qatar and other regional states. During a visit to Doha last week, Shehbaz reaffirmed the “unshakable support” for the security and sovereignty of Qatar and underlined the country’s commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.

The officials said that Shehbaz’s participation alongside other Muslim leaders reflected a unified resolution of the Ummah Muslim to face Israeli hostilities and joined Palestine.
