China has opened two investigations on business practices of American fleas, PK Press Club Reports.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, the first survey will focus on the question of whether Chinese companies have been faced with unfair treatment in the context of the Washington chip policies.
The second survey concerns the affirmations that certain American analog chips, including those found in hearing aids, and Wi-Fi routers, are being discharged on the Chinese market.
Protectionist practices
The officials claim that the United States has imposed multiple restrictions on China access to advanced technologies in recent years, ranging from export limits to targeted commercial examinations.
The ministry describes them as “protectionist practices” which “are suspected of discriminating China and are intended to curb and abolish the development of China from high -tech industries such as advanced computer flea and artificial intelligence”.
The United States has introduced and tightened a series of restrictions on the export of advanced AI chips to China, including high-end Nvidia processors used for the formation of large AI models.
The US government says that action is necessary to prevent Chinese companies from getting their hands on technology that could improve the military capacities of China.
The measures, introduced for the first time in 2022 and developed in the years that followed, the block sales of the A100 and H100 chips of Nvidia as well as modified versions for the Chinese market.
US officials argue that controls are necessary for national security, while Beijing says they are unjustly targeting Chinese companies and disrupt global supply chains.
