- Epson announced five new Lifestudio projectors
- The budget price range includes four laptops and an ultra short launch
- All models present Google TV for streaming and sound by Bose integrated speakers
Epson has recently worked on an updating of its range of portable projectors. This effort gave five new Lifestio models, ranging from a compact 4K ultra short launch to a full HD projector of $ 679.
The big news here is Epson’s collaboration with the lecturer and the Bose headphones to create the first projectors with Sound by Bose. In addition to making new spotlights an all -in -one home theater solution, they will have four modes “ listening with Sound by Bose ” – Cinema, dialogue, music and standard – to adapt the sound output for a range of content.
Each new projector in the Lifestio range includes Google TV, a Smart TV platform which is increasingly added to the best projectors, integrated for streaming.
Another first that comes with the Lifestudio range is that the Epson Projection Studio application is available for Android and iOS devices. This will allow viewers to control the projector functions, such as settings parameters and volume, and will allow several users to easily contribute to slideshow for parts and other events.
The configuration of each lifestio projector is facilitated with EpiqSense 2.0 Auto-Settup, which automatically adjusts the focus and alignment of the image, as well as the balance of colors when projection on surfaces other than a white screen or a wall.
Lifestudio Grand Ultra Short Throw projector
The Crown Jewel of the Epson Lifestudio range is the Lifestio Grand Ultra Short Throw ($ 2,499.99) projector. This 4K model offers a powerful light for the price, with 3,600 nominal lumens of white and brightness of the colors.
The LIFFOL LIFETIDO can project a 120 inch image at a distance of 15.2 inches on the wall, and has an HDR10 support and 120 Hz games with a 1080p resolution.
Portable Lifestudio Flex Plus projector
The new most advanced portable projector in Epson is the Lifestudio Flex Plus ($ 999.99). This 4K model radiates images with 1,000 lumens brightness and has Allm (Auto Low Latence) for games. It also has a swivel and tilting support, integrated mood lighting and a USB-C port to power the projector from a portable charger.
The other models in the Portable Epson range include the Flex Lifestio ($ 849.99), which is a full HD laptop with 700 luminosity and the same swivel base as the Flex Plus. While the POP POP POP Plus ($ 849.99) and Lifestio POP ($ 799.99) are 4K and Full HD models, the two have 700 brightness.
Epson Lifestio projectors are now available on Epson.com and some retailers. A range of accessories, including adjustable floor supports and wireless microphones for karaoke, is also available.
Lifestudio is tall
Epson is not a newcomer to the portable projector World – The company published its Epiqvision Flex in 2023 and followed with the Epiqvision Mini EF22 in 2024. The two options provided viewers looking for a compact projector, portable in the range less than $ 1000.
But the company has really intensified things with its new Lifestio offers, adding 4K options, as well as integrated Google TV (with Netflix!) At all levels for streaming.
A projector of $ 1,000 with 4K resolution is not something that I saw before the LG Cinebeam Q, a laser projector which is high on style and features, but low on brightness, with 500 Lumens Ansi specified. The new Epson Lifestio Flex Plus, while the LG price, doubles the brightness at 1,000 lumens. With integrated Google TV, it will also be a great option for streaming.
The performance of the games was an area that we found necessary for work in our EPSON EPIQVISION Mini EF22 exam, and the Lifestudio Flex Plus with its AllM function should provide an improvement on this front. The integrated speakers of the Epiqvision Mini EF22 also proved to be missing, and I expect the addition of Sound by Bose to the new Lifestio range will have a transformative effect on the quality of the audio.
As intrigued as me by the Lifestio Flex Plus, the Lifestudio Grand Ultra Short Throw projector is the one that fascinates me more. This 4K model is at the price well below a large part of its UST competition, while offering a 4K resolution and a superb brightness of 3,600 lumens.
At this price, the Lifestudio Grand will offer a more affordable alternative to the Epson LS800, the best sport option in our best Ultra Short Throw projector guide, an excellent versatile projector that is otherwise hampered by a dated Android TV platform and Wi-Fi 5 for streaming.
