- The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are faced with the longest shipping delays from the iPhone 11 in the United States
- These phones also seem to be very popular in other regions
- We have detailed how long you can expect to expect one in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia
Between the new camera design, improved chipset, improved sensors, adding a steam room, and much more, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have a lot of upgrades – and it seems that Apple fans have noted, because these phones are in high demand, even according to the iPhone standards.
Thus, although the official release date of the iPhone 17 series is on September 19, you may have to wait a little longer to get your hands on one of Apple’s new flagship phones.
According to Bank of America (via @Deitaone), the shipping dates of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are more extensive than the iPhone 16 was at the same pre-order stage, being the longest delays we have seen in the United States from the iPhone 11.
According to Phandroid, pre -orders in China also broke records, and it is reasonable to assume that the same thing could be true in other regions. All this means that if you have not already ordered one of these phones, you could be fully expected to get one.
Weeks to wait
The table below details the waiting times that you can expect if you order an iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro Max now in the United States, the United Kingdom or Australia. Note, however, that the exact waiting time will depend on color and configuration, which is why you will find a large window for each phone. And, of course, these delivery windows could also change.

If you have already ordered one, you will probably know what your delivery estimate is, but even the day orders of the iPhone 17 Pro Max have, in many cases, subject to delivery delays of several weeks, so even order early has not guaranteed fast delivery.
Do these phones are worth waiting? Well, our complete criticisms are not yet live, you may want to wait for them before placing your order – if you can support an even longer wait to get one of these phones in your hands – but the first signs are promising.
The battery life, performance and cameras have all been improved, at least on paper, and although screens are similar to those of last year, they can now become more brilliant. This, more a clearly different design (at least from the back), could well make the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max which is worth the purchase.
