NFL players are not the only ones at risk of injuring themselves during football matches. Coaches can also be injured.

Los Angeles Rams chief coach Sean Mcvay announced that he had torn his plantar fascia during the 33-19 team victory against Tennessee Titans on Sunday at the Nissan Stadium.

“The foot is good,” said Mcvay. “I torn my plantar fascia, so yes. Well, it’s a good thing, because I suppose it allows you to heal a little faster,” said Mcvay in a recent episode of The Rams “The Coach Mcvay Show”.

“But I was dramatic, lodging towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed that I had done it. Good news, it is that I am not playing. I’m just on the touch to look, so if I’m a little cool to add booty, then you will know why.”

The plantar fascia is a thick fabric that flows along the sole of the foot. Mcvay did not say if he would need to wear a walking boot while his injury heals.
