Karachi:
The after-mortem of an 11-year-old girl found dead in the city of Surjani confirmed that she had been subject to sexual assault before being murdered, the police surgeon.
The post-mortem, led by the police surgeon, Dr. Sumaiya, noted that the victim was strangled with a rope or a similar object. While Dr. Sumaiya verbally informed the police of strangulation, PS Surjani Town said that a written report was expected. Verbal confirmation of the police surgeon did not include rape evidence. “Once the written agent’s written report has been received, a murder case will be officially registered,” he added.
Police gave the victim’s body to his family to bury.
