- Meta may have spoiled two smart glasses reveal Connect
- They appeared in a video now deleted on its YouTube channel
- A third new pair of glasses could also have been shown
You hate seeing it. Well, unless you are a technological journalist who is prosperous to cover leaks. Indeed, the full range of Meta Connect Smart glasses has apparently been spoiled by a video published on its own YouTube channel (which was then hidden).
We are a little more than a day of Meta Connect 2025 when writing the editorial’s moment, and on the basis of other leaks and comments from the CTO and CEO of Meta, we expected a heavy showcase of smart glasses.
This seems to be the case: as Uploadvr reports, a video that briefly appeared on Meta’s social media presented a pair of glasses called the Meta-Ray-Ban display, in parallel with a brief overview of its entire range, which includes a pair with a visor design-two frames that have already been disclosed.
Display frames resemble large wayfarers, but in exchange for a slightly more doo-red design, you will apparently get new impressive features such as a screen superposition on the screen for directions and translations that appear on the text that you cannot understand among others.
They also seem to be controlled by a kind of bracelet – which has also been disclosed – with a similar strip used to control the Meta Orion prototype glasses.
For me, however, the biggest surprise is the design of the visor that we see in the flight, which moves the temple camera to the nose for a more centered video capture.
This framework was also teased earlier this year to be a sporting design of smart glasses developed in collaboration with Oakley.
I will be the first to admit that I simply supposed that these glasses had been preserved in place of the HSTN design that we obtained in place, but it seems that Meta simply gives us two Oakley frames in a year.
Unfortunately, the trailer does not reveal much about this visor beyond its look, although when it has been disclosed, it was suggested that it would boast of certain integrations and sports features. We will have to wait and see what Meta officially announces to find out if it is always the case and how he manifests.
On this note, as with all leaks, we must take this video with a pinch of salt. That said, given that the clip was published on Meta’s own YouTube channel, I lean so that it is an oopsy from Meta and revealing some gadgets too early.
Fortunately, we only have one day left to find out whether this leak is real or not.
A third pair of smart glasses is approaching?
Although there are two obvious additions to the Meta Smart Glasses range, there is another pair that I want to highlight, and it is the Blue Ray-Bans sandwich between the specifications of Oakley in the image above.
This is because Meta currently does not offer blue meta -rays, and I don’t think he has ever sold opaque blue frames as we see here – only translucent blue frames.
Meta may simply announce new colors for her Ray -Ban intelligent specifications, but, as I have said for months, I think he launches radiated rays – I bet these are improved specifications.
The upgrades, in my mind, would simply bring the Ray-Bans rays with the Oakley HSTN glasses by equipping them with the new improved camera, and the best battery life, which the latest Meta glasses offer.
Again, we will have to wait and see what Meta has in her sleeve, and how much these two or three new pairs cost, but this leak made me only make me more excited to connect to Meta Connect – letting me ask me if it was not an intentional “accident to build a media threw.
