Lawyer Jahangir Jadun asked the registrar of the High Court of Islamabad (IHC) to obtain the audio-video registration of Tuesday’s hearing before the Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri judge the suspension case of the chief judge.

This movement comes after a The bench of two members led by IHC chief judge, Sardar Mohammad Sarfraz Dogar, sitting with judge Mohammad Azam Khan, made the ordinance on Tuesday on a petition filed by the lawyer Mian Daud against judge Jahangiri.
In addition to suspending its judicial functions, the bench appointed two main lawyers – lawyer Zafarullah Khan and the former attorney general Ashtar ausaf – as a Amici Curiae To help consider the validity and maintainability of the case.
The IHC also published an opinion to the Pakistan Attorney General, seeking whether the petition contesting the academic qualifications of Judge Jahangiri is eligible.
Taking an exception to the order, the Islamabad bar council announced on Wednesday (today) the strike (today) both in the CI and the district court. He said that a general meeting of the organization would decide on the future conduct line and that a rally will also take place.
Meanwhile, a list of revised functions has been released by the court, in which Judge Jahangiri is not included in any bench mission, including hearings at a single and division bench.

The declaration published by the University after the meeting did not mention the name of judge Jahangiri, but noted that the committee had proposed the cancellation of “the diploma and the registration cards of the candidates found guilty of acts contrary to ethics and immoral”.
The decision only occurred a few hours after the union member’s detention, Dr. Riaz Ahmed, who was reportedly recovered by police from an apparent attempt to prevent him from attending the key meeting.
However, the High Court of the Sindh, September 5, 2024, suspended the decision of the University of Karachi.
A division bench, including judge Salahuddin Panhwar and judge Amjad Ali Sahito, also prohibited the University from taking other measures on a complaint against Judge Jahangiri while hearing a request filed by the judge.
Legal sources claim that Judge Jahangiri plans to challenge the decision of the IHC before the Supreme Court after receiving the written order.
