“Jabbar Jabbar Juluke during the pre-match altercation reflects an unacceptable and not aligned behavior with the standards of the Southeast Conference,” said Greg Sankey, in a statement. “The coaches should be leaders and defuse tense situations, and this has not occurred in this circumstance. This suspension is appropriate, and any future fault of Jabbar Juluke will cause more serious disciplinary measures.”
Gators and Tigers players were involved in pre-match incidents. However, Juluke’s involvement was not stated in the SEC press release.
He apologized for his role and suggested that he entered an incident with a Tigers player.
