Joe Burrow is the last victim of Turf Toe, and when you look at home, it is easy to say that one should not be much disturbed by an injury to the toes.
However, the Bengals of Cincinnati quickly announced that their Franchise quarter would miss a minimum of three months, putting the rest of its 2025 season in danger after playing in less than a match and a half.
Fantastic football players and football fans have constantly been left in limbo on players’ return statutes for a row injury, often not really understanding what it is.

However, when you are in depth on the injury, it is easy to see why Burrow will not come back before the holidays, at best.
“It is a disturbance, or an injury, with the fabrics on the underside of the big toe. And it is really, really critical, because each time we walk, run, launch, swing a baseball bat, whatever it is, the last point of contact with the foot and the ground is the big toe,” said Tom Christ, a doctor in physiotherapy who also founded his own website A recent interview with PK Press Club. “And whatever the activities I have just named that you do, the power comes from the ground through the arm. So you must be able to turn off the foot and, in particular the big toe with the race, even just a basic walk.
“Turf toe is a disruption to those tissue to where they are no long restraining the toe from Just Extending All The Way Upwards, And Therefore, They’re No Longer Providing A Firm Base of Push-Off. So Right Now, if you were and tried to run that Too Bad for Him to Do It, But Let Let’s Just Say That Pain Was the problem here, his toe would just continue to extend all the way into the rest of his foot, so he would have a solid base of all to repel.

Christ jokingly admitted that he was “in a way” offended by a name so not serious for a serious injury, but there is a reason why Turf Toe received his name.
“The fact is that the artificial lawn does not have the same offer. The traditional grass, below, is dirt or mud, depending on what the weather has been. So, if you watch this video, you literally do not see the way the grass does, it is very plausible to say that it would not make such an injury if it played on the grass. The wounds have started to become more and more and Artificial has become more popular, “said Christ.
Christ said that a three -month potential return would be “aggressive” but “not impossible”, adding that Bengals could have a fairly optimistic chronology because it is his left toe, not his right, since he will be able to push very well with his right foot. His position also helps the case.

“From any position in football, a quarter-Arrière is the position that could probably go back as quickly as possible with his injury. …”, he said. “Being a position that makes the least sprint – of course, it must be mobile in the pocket, so that Burrow can play, like half of its mobility. Just, this offensive line, I mean, it might not go so well, but it could be done.
“So 12 weeks is aggressive, but it’s not completely out of the question.”
