Five die in shaman ‘suicide’ blast

Thursday, at least five people died in a powerful explosion near the Pakistani-Afghane border in Shaman, while the security forces eliminated four terrorists linked to the “Indian proxy network Fitna Al Hindustan” during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

The explosion occurred near a taxi stand in the area of ​​the refugee camp near the border it frequented by travelers and residents. Police sources have described the explosion “an explosion of suicide” which has made lives of at least five people and injured three others.

However, a declaration from the Prime Minister’s office wing, said Shehbaz Sharif had “expressed deep sorrow and sorrow concerning the loss of six precious lives” in the “breath of bomb in a parking area near the Pak-Afghan border in Shaman”.

Eye witnesses and residents said that the explosion was so strong that it had been heard through the city of Shaman and even in the suburbs. Shortly after the explosion, security officials rushed to the scene. The ambulances of neighboring hospitals were sent immediately to move the dead and injured in medical facilities.

The Balutchistan government sentenced the attack. Head Minister Sarfaraz Bugti ordered law enforcement agencies to conduct a complete investigation into the incident and submit a detailed report.

According to the Ministry of the Interior of Balutchistan, the site was sealed and specialized teams currently collected forensic evidence. The officials confirmed that the investigation process was underway to determine the nature of the explosion and the possible reasons behind him.

The department of origin urged citizens to remain calm, to avoid spreading unaccounts or rumors and to extend full cooperation to security agencies working in the affected area. Safety around the Pak-Afghan border has been tightened in the context of precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, according to a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces led the IBO in the Khuzdar district on Wednesday on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to the proxy index, Fitna Al Hindustan.

“During the conduct of the operation, our forces actually initiated the location of the terrorists, and after an intense fire exchange, four terrorists sponsored by India were sent to hell,” said the ISPR. “Weapons, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from terrorists, who have remained involved in many terrorist activities in the region,” he added.

“The disinfection operation takes place to eliminate any other terrorist found in the region and the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country, and to reaffirm the unwavering resolution of the nation to translate the perpetrators of terrorism in court,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for a successful operation against Fitna-Ul-Hindustan in Khuzdar. He praised the professional skills of officers and security forces, said a press release from the Prime Minister’s office.

The Prime Minister promised that the fight against the threat of terrorism would continue until it is completely eradicated from the country. “The whole nation, including me, stands near the armed forces of Pakistan in its unshakable determination to protect the fatherland,” said the Prime Minister.
