The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant-General, General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that Pakistan has “credible evidence” according to which officers in the Indian army and illegal Afghan nationals are involved in terrorism and serious crimes within Pakistan.
In a detailed interview with international media on September 5, 2025, Lieutenant-General Chaudhry noted that Pakistan had hosted millions of Afghan refugees for four decades and has repeatedly extended the deadline for their voluntary return on humanitarian grounds, News reported.
He said that the initial reasons for asylum – foreign interference and civil war – “no longer exist”.
The CEO ISPR accused India of state -sponsored terrorism, declaring that violent incidents in India come from extremist policies and that New Delhi seeks to portray internal and external problems.

“Authentic evidence have emerged from the Indian army officers involved in terrorist acts in Pakistan,” he said, adding that Islamabad has presented this proof to the international community on several occasions.
Lieutenant-General Chaudhry urged the world community to help resolve the cashmere dispute and warned that Indian state institutions, including the army, are influenced by extremist political ideologies.

He stressed that Pakistan rejects all non -state actors without discrimination and that no group or individual other than the State can declare jihad. “There is no room in Pakistan for militias or armed groups,” he said.
Stressing Pakistan’s sacrifices as a front-line state in the fight against terrorism, Chaudhry said that weapons left in Afghanistan after the American withdrawal are now used in the attacks, a question on which the United States has expressed their concern.

He also recalled the leadership role of American president Donald Trump during periods of Pakistani-Indian tension and underlined the constructive and strategic links of Pakistan with China.
