- Images of Samsung One Ui 8.5 have leaked
- Certain visual changes and fulfillments are visible
- It is not clear when the software can deploy
With the update of the Samsung One user interface (based on Android 16) which now takes place on Galaxy phones and tablets in the world, we have what seems to be an overview of the Big One 8.5 update which will be on the way.
Software photos have appeared on Sammyguru and display important changes in the user interface. The parameter pages have more compact menu elements, the search bar is at the bottom and there are gradient effects on the edges.
With a few gout shadows also added, the overall printing is a slightly easier interface for the eyes, and with a little more in the way of flourishing. Other adjustments include a return button that floats on the rest of the interface.
As Sammyguru pointed out, some of these changes are somewhat similar to what we have seen from Apple with iOS 26, but imitation is not too blatant – it still looks a lot like a mobile operating system manufactured by Samsung.
Leaks and beta
To watch
What we do not get here are indications of new features or functions that could be introduced with an IU 8.5. Since the version number jumps only 0.5, we might not see much in terms of upgrades.
Before an official phase of deployment and beta test, we will undoubtedly see several leaks: Android Authority has already spotted an UI 8.5 functionality which seems designed to prevent crises caused by photosensitive epilepsy.
There is not yet an indication on the moment when this software could start to appear on phones and tablets, although Samsung has increased the pace of its UI updates in recent months – with Oneui 8 after a user interface 7.
One UI 8 software made its debut with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldables and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and now takes place towards the Galaxy S25 handsets. After that, he will go to older devices in the coming weeks.
