Dji does not slow down with the launches of the product: after having unveiled the DJI Mini 5 Pro, it seems that the DJI Osmo Nano is the next device in the pipeline and that the details of the compact action camera have again leaned.
These details come from Dronexl and come from a detailed Australian website which seems to have published information on the DJI Osmo Nano camera in advance. The specifications listed include an “all-new” sensor 1/1.3 inch, capable of saving a 4K video at 60 frames per second.
The camera apparently offers a 143 -degree field of vision, and the battery life would be around 200 minutes. The list also indicates that the device is waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters, without an additional case or protection.
According to DJI’s marketing copy, the DJI Osmo Nano “can be set up in several positions, helping you capture inventive angles and enjoy a greater freedom of creation”. Based on this list, there is at least the option of 128 GB of storage on board.
Shooting modes and prices
There is also a mention of two stabilization modes: balancing the horizon to correct horizon inclinations, and a 3.0 stable rock mode which “effectively reduces the shock of the camera while preserving the intensity and impact of movement”.
Add the images that accompany these specifications, and this is a complete overview of what will come – and a good overview of how the DJI Osmo Nano could take the other smaller action cameras on the market, such as the Insta360 GB 3S.
This is not the first leak that we saw around this device. The camera has actually appeared on Dji’s own social media channels, while we have also seen several disclosed images. A starting price of € 369 (around $ 435 / £ 320 / $ 655 at) was advanced.
There is a DJI launch event scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, where we should see one or more new products – including, most likely, the DJI Osmo Nano. We will of course bring you all the details of the device as soon as it is official.
