The friend reveals the reaction of Queen Elizabeth to the mission of Charlie Kirk

Businessman John Mappin recalled a private briefing at the castle of Windsor who, he said, presented Queen Elizabeth II at the work of the American activist Charlie Kirk, the conservative commentator who was killed this month in UTAH.

Addressing the Telegraph, Mappin said that his friends Lord and Lady Plunket informed the end of the Queen and Prince Philip on tea about Turning Point, the Young Movement Kirk founded in the United States and then extended to Great Britain.

Mappin stressed that the queen had not personally met Kirk but was informed of her mission.

“Prince Philip found it fascinating, when she loved the idea that Charlie brought young people to church,” said Mappin.

He added that Elizabeth, at the head of the Church of England, evaluated Kirk’s frank Christianity.

Kirk, 31, was killed on September 10 while he was speaking at the University of Utah Valley.

His assassination amazed supporters in both countries, and his funeral this weekend should attract figures including Donald Trump.

Mappin said that the Queen’s support response highlighted her own Christian devotion for life:

“She appreciated Charlie’s sincere love for Jesus Christ and what he was doing.”
