A legendary MLB franchise record fell on Saturday evening.
The Seattle Navy recipient, Cal Raleigh, struck his 57th circuit of the season against the Astros of Houston to break the total of Ken Griffey Jr., which dates back to 1997.
The navies led 2-0 in the third round when Raleigh struck a lead of 95.5 MPH from Lefty Framber Valdez in the enclosure of the Right Field to do so 3-0 and pass the 56 Mark Griffey reached in 1997 and 1998.

Raleigh raised his right arm to celebrate as he turned the second goal and raised the trident that the mariners use for their celebration of Home Run to the sky after JP Crawford gave him just before entering the canoe.
Raleigh, who directs the majors in the Home Runs, has already exceeded the major record of Mickey Mantle leagues for the Home Runs by a switch of 54 which had been held since 1961. He also set the MLB record for the circuits by a recipient this season, eclipping the 48 Salvador Perez Hit in 2021.

Raleigh is in a race with the New York Yankees Judge Aaron for Al MVP. While Raleigh has the advantage over the circuits judge and RBI, the judge apparently leads all other key offensive categories, including OPS of around 180 points at the time of publication.

The judge also gains ground on Raleigh in the circuits, after reaching his 49th of the season Saturday against the Orioles of Baltimore. The judge struck five circuits in 10 games after shaking the hand of President Donald Trump in the Yankees clubhouse on September 11, and even exceeded the legend of the Yankees Joe Dimaggio on the list of career in career of the franchise the next day after meeting Trump.
Some fans have gleeed Trump’s handshake for the judge’s recent wave of power.
