Wilson joined Elite Company last season after winning his third MVP, just becoming the fourth player to do so, with Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie and Lauren Jackson. She was also only the second player to be won unanimously, joining Cynthia Cooper.
Wilson, 29, has been dominant since entering the League. She won her first MVP trophy in 2020 and her second in 2022.

“As everything is said and done, she will be the biggest to do so,” said head coach Becky Hammon, in ESPN. “Four [MVPs] already said that it is. In a league that continued to improve, it continues to improve. “”
This season, Wilson led the League in points (23.4 per game) and in blocks (2.3), while making an average of 10.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists. She was also appointed co-defensive player of the year alongside the Lynx star, Alanna Smith.
“You look at poetry in motion. You look at history,” said Hammon. “And she is only 29 years old. She could win four others when she is over.”
