500 training scholarships for Pakistani experts

The Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, visited the headquarters of the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) on Tuesday in Guangzhou, marking an important stage in the Pakistani-Chinese scientific collaboration.

During the visit, BGI announced the provision of 500 training scholarships for Pakistani experts, aimed at improving skills and expertise in the field of genomics. This initiative should deepen bilateral links and open new paths for cooperation in advanced biotechnology, “said the minister.

Speaking on occasion, the Minister described the genomic partnership as “a new chapter of Pakistani-Chinese friendship”.
