Mateer would be dealing with a broken bone in his right hand, by ESPN, although we do not know how the injury happened. He should miss about a month for Sooners.

Mateer will also miss the highly anticipated match of the Red River River rivalry against Texas on October 11.

Of course, losing a potential Heisman finalist is difficult to overcome, but Oklahoma must have Hawkins to intensify the classification of the dry and the implications of the playoffs of university football in play.
