Complete spoilers follow Alien: earth Season 1, including his eighth and last episode.
The last episode of Alien: earthThe first season emerged from its ovomorphic. And, with the original FX TV dominating the entertainment news cycle since it was created at the end of August, I expected what is happening in its last chapter, entitled “The Real Monsters”, to trigger many debates of fans in the foreseeable future.
In the middle of the conversations that are already raging online after its release, I suspect that you have questions about the last entry of Hulu and Disney + Show. Below, I will do my best to answer your biggest requests on `The Real Monsters ”, and how it could put things in place for a possible season in a row.
This is your last warning: Major spoilers immediately follow for everyone Alien: earth Season 1. Now go back if you still have episodes to watch, including your final.
Who dies in Alien: Earth Season 1 Episode 8?
Important person. In fact, in a rare decision for a project defined in the Stranger Universe, its main actors survive the events of the final of season 1 of the show.
Indeed, all the remaining hybrids – Wendy / Marcy, Nibs, SMEE, slightly and curly – not only live to fight another day, but end up taking control of Prodigy Corporation after their revolt against their creators and those who were in charge.
This includes the founder of Prodigy, Kavalier, his right man Atom Eins, the main scientist Dame Sylvia and the synthetic substitution father of hybrids in Kirsh, who are all gathered and imprisoned by Wendy and Company in one of the multi-personal prison cells in Prodigy.
This quartet is also joined by Weyland-Yutani Cyborg Morrow. Morrow was imprisoned after his capture in episode 7 and, despite the rupture of his cell in “The Real Monsters”, he resumed and detained again.
So who bites the dust? Only a few support characters in Siberia and Rashidi.
Siberia is killed by the carnivorous plant monster – it only took eight episodes for us to finally see it in action! – which escapes his containment cell based on the research laboratory in episode 8. As for Rashidi, we do not see him die but, given that he is not part of the group imprisoned at the end of this entry, I suspect that he was killed out of camera.
“But what about CJ?”, I hear you cry. Don’t worry, he’s still alive. In the middle of episode 8, Smee reminds Wendy / Marcy that, despite what CJ did to Nibs at the end of episode 7, he is always on the side of hybrids. He is not imprisoned like the others are therefore – although, to judge by the expression worried about his face in the closing scene of the final, it is clear that CJ does not agree with Wendy and the company that takes care of Prodigy.
Who becomes the new human host of the eye monster in Alien: Earth?
No one we expected. Indeed, with the boy Kavalier strongly implying that he wanted to sacrifice a specific human to trypanohycha ocellus (T. ocellus) – he is also known as affectionate under the name of “ Eyeen ” and “ The Eye ” – The fans were convinced that they had worked who Alien: earthThe fans’ favorite eye creature would take over.
I even discussed the three candidates most likely to become the human host of T. Ocellus, with CJ, Lady Sylvia and Morrow being my choices for non -consensual ocular and cerebral surgery gracious with eight limbo monstrosity.
Well, it turns out that we were all wrong. In a shocking turn of events, the eye takes over the decaying body of Arthur, the recently deceased lady’s husband and scientific colleague.
I admit that I found strange that “the real monsters” open on a photo of the corpse of Arthur. After his death in the hands of a chest xenomorph in the chest in episode 7, Arthur’s body was unshakable by Morrow and the invasive forces of Weyland-Yutani before the end of this chapter. Since then, Arthur’s corpse has clearly failed on one of the beaches of Prodigy’s Neverland Island and has become a tasty potential for the population of native crabs of the enclave.
There is a specific reason why Arthur’s corpse has been shown to us, however, because Ocellus finds it not only, but is also able to have it physically and the RĂ©anim for his own nasty reasons.
He did not always seem (fully planned word game) as if this scenario would take place. Halfway through episode 8, it seemed that CJ was going to become the human host of Ocellus after being created at the Kavalier and Atom Eins boy. Thanks to the intervention of Wendy / Marcy, Ocellus was prevented from taking CJ to take a tour as a new bipedal house in Lifeform.
In the long term: Ocellus flees the scene via a floor vent, escapes the installation and ends up tripping on Arthur’s corpse on the shore. After having inspected the carcass, Ocellus supplants the left eye of Arthur and uses its other parasitic functions to effectively revive Arthur, although completely under its control.
Who is Steven Dimarco, the sixth dead child whose grave we see in Alien: Earth’s Season 1 final?
The answer to this question is quite obvious, but some viewers could be confused about what Steven is, so it is worth provided here.
Steven is the real name of Tootles / Isaac, the hybrid played by Kit Young. Before he was killed by these artificial fly -shaped creatures and artificial eaters in episode 6, Tootles / Isaac was the other hybrid created by Prodigy alongside Wendy, Nibs, Smee, slightly and completed. This means that there were six terminal children whose conscience was transferred to the artificial bodies they have occupied since Alien: earthFirst.
Since Tootles / Isaac died two chapters ago, some public members may have forgotten it. As such, when Lady Sylvia visits the children’s cemetery at the start of episode 8, some fans could be confused about the reason why there are six tombstones. Well, there is your answer!
The final of season 1 of Alien: does Earth have a scene of medium or post-key credits?
No. Once the final credits have rolled on “The Real Monsters”, there are no additional scenes for which to stay.
You should sit down through the final credits to appreciate the large number of people who worked on the series. But, if you sit in the hope that there will be a Marvel style teases at the end, you will be seriously disappointed.
Will there be an extraterrestrial: Earth Season 2?
Maybe. The showrunner / creator Noah Hawley said he saw Alien: earthThe story of the race for several seasons. Indeed, addressing Variety before the beginnings of season 1, he suggested that the series of science fiction could last up to five seasons.
More recently, Hawley told the evolution of Horror YouTube Channel whom he already knows where the intrigue would go in season 2 if she was Greenlit. However, nothing was officially confirmed by FX Networks, alias the studio behind Alien: earthWe will therefore have to see if the show was popular enough to justify at least one payment in eight more parts.
What will happen in Alien: Earth Season 2?
Again, I have nothing officially to report, but that will not prevent me from speculating what could happen if Alien: earth is renewed for another season.
To begin with, there are the immediate benefits of the takeover of the prodigy hybrids. With a large number of Weyland-Yutani troops when entering, it will be fascinating to see how the main rival of Prodigy will react to its founder of Trillionaire-that is to say the Kavalier boy-being usurped by the things he created. I imagine that Wendy and the company will not give extraterrestrial life forms in Weyland-Yutani. Thus, while Yutani, Megacorp’s own CEO, could find fun that the boy was locked up by hybrids, she will probably be unhappy by Wendy’s refusal to give them his xenomorphs, and she will be happy that Morrow was imprisoned by the Gang.
Speaking of the dangerous extraterrestrials that Prodigy stolen from Weyland-Yutani, the carnivorous vegetable creature and the Orel are now cowardly on the island. I suspect that the latter will continue to play a big role next season, especially if his ultimate goal is to create links with someone as smart as the boy. Regarding the Flora-Esque monster and other extraterrestrial life forms, your supposition is as good as mine as the way they will be used throughout season 2.
There will necessarily be more melodrama in play next time too. I would be surprised if one or more of the other four hybrids continue to follow Wendy’s advance as the intrigue of season 2 progresses, and it will be intriguing to see if the level of confidence between CJ and Wendy continues on its trajectory down. There is also the prospect of incarcerated humans, cyborgs and other synthetics, such as Kirsh, forming a difficult alliance to try to regain control of the installation. So do not be surprised if you find yourself rooted for characters that you do not like originally and / or in balusters against individuals whose side you were before.
Finally, would it be too much to ask to see the other megacorporations which direct the planet Earth – Threshold, Lynch and Dynamic – appear and play an active role in the procedures? Weyland-Yutani and Prodigiy can continue to be at the heart of Alien: earthThe story, but it would be cool to see the other conglomerates wading in the fray and still complicating things, especially if they want to take advantage of the current situation of Prodigy. Do it, Mr. Hawley.
