Islamabad:
The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, said that the 10 -day visit to President Asif Ali Zadari in China – a trip through the mountains and the seas at his “home far from his home” – has again added a new chapter to friendship dressed in iron between China and Pakistan.
In a long article, Zaidong presented the details of Zardari’s visit which started on September 12 and continued until September 21. During this trip, the president crossed three administrative regions at the provincial level, visited four destinations, met with local and committed government leaders with ordinary Chinese citizens.
“This trip has added new chapters to the legendary Chinese-Pakistani friendship, to advanced bilateral cooperation and deepened the link between our two peoples. It is a journey of civilization and innovation, shaped by a mutual commitment,” he said.
Zaidong noted that during his visit to the Memorial Hall of the first National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) in Shanghai, President Zardari congratulated the role of the CPC in the liberation and the rise of China on the world as a great world power.
“We express our sincere gratitude for these kind words. As President Zardari noted it, since its foundation, the CPC has been unshakable in pursuit of happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”
He reiterated that China and Pakistan are strategic cooperative partners all time and friends dressed in iron. “Secular friendship is a precious asset of both countries and their peoples.
He said China was ready to work with Pakistan to implement the important results of President Zardari’s visit and advance the action plan to promote an even closer Chinese-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era (2025-2029).
“”[We are also willing to] Take the example of the construction of a community with a common future between neighboring countries and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity, “he added.
He said China was ready to work with Pakistan to effectively implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and give a complete game to the complete effects of the CPEC project.
“”[We are ready to] Focus on cooperation in the three key areas of industry, agriculture and mining, widen cooperation in emerging fields, deepen local and cultural exchanges and inject new impetus into the growth of bilateral cooperation, “he added.
Currently, China and Pakistan are in a critical phase of development and rejuvenation, and the two are dedicated to the realization of the aspirations of their people for a better life.
“China is willing to further strengthen exchanges on governance experience with Pakistan,” added the ambassador.
