Hisense has launched a brand new Laser projector designed for home theater lovers “who care more about performance than old -fashioned”, and it’s a very competitive prize.
The Triple PT1 laser cinema is designed to project 80 inch images at 150 inches, and because it is an ultra-short launch projector, it can do it just a few inches. It issues 2,500 lumens in light and has a 3,000: 1 contrast ratio.
The PT1 is available in the United States and the United Kingdom. The British model executes Vidaa U7.6 OS rather than the Google TV of the American model, but is also identical.
HISENSE PT1 Triple laser cinema: Key specifications and price
The heart of the PT1 is the Triple Laser Light of Hisense, which, as its name suggests, uses a trio of lasers – red, green and blue – to provide 110% of the BT.2020 colorimetric space, which exceeds the capacity of conventional television.
There is a support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 +, plus the IMEX IMAX certification, with Dolby Atmos and DTS: X Surround Son for immersive audio. And of course, there is an AI speaker to wear images with low resolution at 4K. There is compatibility with Google Assistant and Alexa in the American version.
One of the most attractive features of Triple PT1 laser cinema is its price: $ 2,999. In the United Kingdom, the official price is £ 1,999, but the retailers are already listing it for members of members as low as £ 1,699, which is very competitive among the best ultra-short launch projectors.
The price of the P1T makes it considerably more affordable than the very impressive L9Q laser television of the same company, which is almost double the price on the two markets. This triple laser projector is brighter – 5,000 lumens with 2,500 of the P1T – and can go larger, with a recommended maximum size of 200 inch. But if you do not live in a solid mansion with sunlight in all directions, the P1T is probably better suited for both space and budget.
The P1T is now available from Hiense and authorized retail partners.
