New York Governor Kathy Hochul was hooked while attending the Ryder Cup opening ceremonies on Wednesday with Bethpage Black on Long Island.
The NBC broadcaster, Carson Daly, announced the guests present for the ceremony.
As he revealed that the Democratic Governor was present, noisy hoots were heard during the broadcast. Television has shown certain people around Hochul applauding as it waved an American flag.

A person was heard shouting: “Get out here Kathy!”
She smiled through, but fans of the Ryder Cup made their voice heard.
The representative Elise Stefanik, R-New York, made fun of Hochul on social networks, calling “brutal” huae.
“Bad day for the worst governor of America,” added Stefanik.
Hochul’s attendance occurred two days before President Donald Trump was present for the start of the Ryder Cup between the American team and the Europe team. Trump has a golf with players on both sides in recent years when he worked to try to repair the relationship between the PGA Tour and the Liv golf.

Scottie Scheffler said Trump’s presence on Tuesday on Tuesday was “important”.
“To have the president here, it was difficult for our country with some of the things that happen, and to have our president here and for us to represent the United States of America, although in a golf tournament, is extremely important for us. And we are delighted to be on the ground at home with the crowd at home, and we are ready to start this tournament,” said Scheffler.
Scheffler also revealed that he had spoken with Trump after some of his big victories on the course, praising him like someone who “loves golf” and “treats people with the greatest respect”.
“I receive a call or SMS of him sometimes after victories. He loves golf game, and he is one of those guys when you are around him, he does such a good job, like feeding confidence in everyone around him,” said Scheffler.
“It was one of the things that I have noticed a lot with the short time that I spent with him, is that he treats everyone in the same way and treats people with the greatest respect. Whether you are the person who serves lunch or the shopping cart on the golf course or the guy who is the president of the club in which we are, he treats everyone as if they were the biggest person.”

US captain Keegan Bradley said Trump would be at the first TEE before the tournament start.
