- The new Google mixture offers visualization and image remixing powered by AI
- Users can create and modify ideas using text prompts
- The mixture is available in experimental beta in the United States
Google is testing a new AI experience for “visual design cards” called mixture. The new tool incorporates AI into modest classics to “explore, develop and refine ideas” officially. But really, it allows you to see the possibilities produced by AI on the basis of prompts ranging from the “comfortable minimalist home office” or the “board game on the theme of retro space”, to Halloween costumes for dogs like those seen above.
The AI canvas then generated visuals, color palettes, an example of text, etc. It is part of the AI assisted sketch and the collage in part at Pinterest or Canva. But the mixture is strongly leaning into the co-creation of AI in a way that these tools do not yet do it. The mixture begins like an almost virgin canvas with a quick bar. Throw descriptive words, and Mixboard will use the new nano-banana image generator of Google to do almost everything you could suggest.
Nano Banana, who first drew attention to his 3D figurine creations, does a much more subtle job inside the mixture. It allows you to modify visuals with natural language, to make compositions to different moods. You can import your own images, modify them with AI or fully build new cards using a combination of existing prompts and models. If it is close, but not quite there, you can regenerate the board or ask “more like this” to shoot new variants.

Google launches Mixboard as a starting point for ideas and brainstorming. It is not for complex presentations and a detailed modification, just approximate descriptions and play with AI responses. This does not mean that it is without friction. As with all AI tools, the utility depends on the quality of the prompts. But it is doing rather well even with strange requests like birds with wide -eyed eyes.
Mixboard occupies a different corner of the imagination that the other generative tools of Google in certain respects. The previews of Gemini and AI are designed for direct responses, while Notebooklm is more suitable to help structured thought and education. The mixture is more loose and more intuitive in format.
Google is, for the moment, to keep an experience in the United States Mixboard, the company says that it always assesses the way people use it and where there could still be problems. However, the machines to mix carefully in Google’s efforts to make its AI useful for the creative process.
It is also a rival for other tools for producing IA images more user -friendly and more user -friendly. For example, Meta has experienced the edition propelled by AI in Instagram and threads, and Pinterest tests intelligent inspiration tools that remind the cards using AI. But most of these tools treat AI as an assistant at the end of a process. Mixboard integrates AI into the process from the start.
