Driver without license to cope with the prison, seized of vehicle

Islamabad:

The Faizabad traffic police office was linked to 11 khidmat marakiz of police (facilitation centers) in the district to limit possible corruption and ensure convenience to citizens. The working hours of these centers were also extended by three hours, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

From October 1, drivers without valid licenses will be faced with strict action: heavy fines, registration of a criminal case at the police station concerned, the vehicle and the driver’s arrest.

The decision was made at a high -level meeting chaired by the Inspector General of the Islamabad police, late last night, which attended higher police, including Dig Islamabad. IGP ordered managers to speed up the driving license emission process and guarantee the maximum of facilities to the public.

As part of these measures, the Faizabad traffic police will now remain open 24 hours a day alongside the F-6 Khidmat Markaz. Additional meters are also set up to respond to the increase in demand from the public.

IGP also announced that in the future, services related to traffic police will also be provided by all police stations in the federal capital. In addition, driving license installations have now been made available at 11 khidmat Marakiz to make the process easier and more accessible to citizens.

The public was invited to obtain their driving licenses before October 1, because driving without once the deadline will result in FIR recording, arrest and vehicle deduction. Traffic police staged awareness campaigns on several platforms to inform citizens of these new measures.

IGP stressed that the maintenance of law and order, the fight against crime and the supply of each possible installation to citizens remain the main priorities of the Islamabad police.
