Mikey McCoy, former Charlie Kirk chief of staff, criticized the advertiser of the New York Mets Gary Cohen for critical remarks that the broadcaster made on the recruit of Chicago Cubs, Matt Shaw, assistant to the commemorative service of conservative influence.
McCoy published a Kirk video walking on Wrigley Field on Thursday in August. He wrote that it was a dream come true for Kirk, who was a big fan of cubbies. But while Cohen called the absence of Shaw of Chicago’s programming “Weird”, he brought a ton of backlash.

“A little over a month ago, Charlie’s dream came true … He had the opportunity to walk on Wrigley Field and after – See his friend Matt Shaw hit a home run.”, McCoy wrote on X.
“A month later, Charlie left and Matt Shaw receives backlands for having attended the memorial of his friend. Honest to Gary Cohen …”
Cohen made his comments in the Tuesday evening match between the food and the cubs.
“I don’t want to talk about politics about it, but the idea of leaving your team in the middle of a race for a reason other than a family emergency, seems really weird to me,” said Cohen during the Sny broadcast.
The diffuser of other dishes, Todd Zeile, described the absence of Shaw “unprecedented”.

“It is unusual, I think it is unprecedented at least of my experience as a player, and I think it made a little more unusual than it was revealed only after being in question because it was supposed to be in the canoe and perhaps available, and was not, and that is how it was revealed,” said Zeile.
Shaw explained on Tuesday why he had made a duty to attend the memorial despite the calendar of his team.
“My connection with Charlie was through our [Christian] Faith, “said that before the Cubs, opened a new series with New York dishes on Tuesday, according to the Sun-Totes Chicago.” And this is something that leads me every day, the reason why I am able to do what I do every day, and this is something that I am extremely grateful.
“I know that without my faith and without the many blessings that have been given to me in my life, that I would not be here, that I could speak to you, capable of helping this team finally winning championships.
“This is something that I really feel, really blessed, so whatever the backlash is ok. I feel strong about my faith and that what had to happen.”

Shaw seemed to be criticizing in stride Wednesday evening. There were 3 for 4 with a home run while the cubs rout the dishes, 10-3.
