It was a night of celebration for the Seattle Mariners.
The featured receiver Cal Raleigh struck its 59th and 60th home circuits of the year while the navies beat the Rockies of Colorado 9-2 to win the title of the American League West Wednesday evening at the T-Mobile Park for the first time in 24 years.
Raleigh has become the seventh player in the history of the MLB to strike at least 60 circuits in one season.

The first home run of the receiver’s match hitting the switch came during the first round, striking on the left side of the plate. Raleigh struck 438 feet from the Rocky launcher Tanner Gordner Gordon in the third bridge for its 59th season circuit to put the mariners 1-0.
“It was like a film,” said teammate Julio Rodríguez about Raleigh’s first round. “I am so grateful that he is in our team, that he is able to do what he does. He is so special, and I can’t say enough.”
Raleigh’s second explosion and the 60th of the season came in the eighth round with the 8-1 team. The crowd was on its feet singing MVP when Raleigh lacé a quick ball from 98 mi / h off the rocky Angel Chivalli at 389 feet in the seats of the right field to do it 9-1.
Raleigh called the shot of 60 circuits in a “Crazy” season.
“It’s crazy. Sixty is – I don’t know what to say,” said Raleigh, who leads the majors of the circuits after the match. “I didn’t know if I was going to reach 60 in my life. Just tonight, what way of doing it.”

The only other players to reach 60 circuits in a season were Babe Ruth (1927), Roger Maris (1961), Mark McGwire (1998 and 1999), Sammy Sosa (1998, 1999, 2001), Barry Bonds (2001) and Aaron Judge (2022).
It was the 11th Multihomer match for Raleigh this year, binding it with Judge (2022), Hank Greenberg (1938) and Sosa (1998) for the MLB record.
With four remaining games in the regular season, Raleigh has a chance to spend the judge for the American League record. The judge struck 62 Homers in 2022 to break the previous brand of 61 taking place by Maris in 1961.
Raleigh’s historical season competitions it with Judge for the MVP price, but its manager Dan Wilson said there was “no question” that should win it.

“When you look at how he did and the position he plays – I told someone earlier a day than when you leave the field, you are mentally and physically exhausted,” said Mariners manager Dan Wilson, a former major league recipient:
“And for him to do what he did offensively and do what he does behind the plate, I honestly don’t think we saw this before. It was incredible. I think it deserves the MVP, without question.”
After having won the Al West for the first time since 2001, the Mariners (89-69) will seek to sweep the Rockies (43-115) in the last match in their three-game series on Thursday at 9:40 pm.
