Nadra launches digital services for retirees in Karachi

Karachi:

The national database and the registration authority has announced its intention to increase the number of recording counters in Karachi from the current 359 to 550 by the end of the current financial year, in a decision to facilitate citizens and improve the provision of services.

According to Nadra officials, existing meters are operational in various mega and national registration centers throughout the city. As part of a wider effort to digitize and modernize its services, Nadra should also introduce a range of new online facilities.

Among the most important, there is the launch of an online “proof of life” functionality via the Pak Identity mobile application, designed mainly to facilitate retirees, in particular those facing challenges in the verification of fingerprints due to age or health problems.
