- Garmin has launched several new beta updates for his portable devices
- These contain new features, bug corrections and more
- They are available for affordable and premium smart watches
If you are the proud owner of one of the best Garmin smart watches, you will be happy to learn that the company deploys a range of updates to maintain the proper functioning of its devices. In addition, the good news is that these fixes come to a wide variety of Garmin products, both at the affordable and premium ends of the line. They follow hot on the heels of another recent update which brought the forest operation to Garmin Connect.
One thing that some users of the Garmin Vivoactive 6 Intelligent Watch have noticed recently is that its battery may tend to flow uncomfortably quickly. If it seems familiar to you, you will want to check your device to update the 15.05 version. Indeed, Notebookcheck noticed that users of the Garmin forums have spotted a new update that apparently addresses the problem. Interestingly, it was not officially announced by Garmin, and it seems that it is a beta version that takes place to select the users.
Aside from the battery emptying fix, forum users believe that the beta update 15.05 includes an adjustment that allows you to access your morning report and your evening report directly from the notification center. The third change supposed to be contained in the press release is a new gesture that allows you to leave an intelligent notification by placing your hand on the screen of your watch.
We do not yet know when Garmin will officially recognize the update, and considering that it is only a beta update, it may not be available on your device. If you want to register for the public beta version and have access to it, you will have to follow the instructions of our guide here.
Premium adjustments
Vivoactive 6 is not the only SmartWatch Garmin to obtain a list of bug corrections – its high -end offers have also been affected. This includes Fenix 8, Tatix 8 and more.
The 20.07 update of these products is delivered with four new features, according to Garmin. This includes a complication of the VO2 Max Watch bike vision, the management of GPI files and the possibility of using automatic touching locking and unlocking if the touch is activated for a strength reps session. In addition, Garmin added tactile access to the keyboard layout via Drag.
Garmin says that the update also contains more than 30 adjustments and bug corrections. Various accidents and differences in shift have been treated, as well as black screens, defective features and scrolling problems. You can see the full list of changes on the Garmin website.
Like other improvements, this update has also been published as part of Garmin’s beta program, so you will have to register to obtain it. Beta updates can contain bugs, so be careful when you install them on a critical device.
Whether you have a premium portable garmin or one of the most affordable products in the company, these updates should provide notable advantages. I hope they are able to solve all the problems you could have with your smartwatch.
