During recent floods and heavy rains in Pakistan, a video circulated online pretending to show a child dragging the corpse of his mother through flood waters. Many users thought it was authentic.
The complaint is false. The clip is staged and was recorded in India by an influencer of social media.

On September 8, an article on Facebook said: “The mother’s mother died in the floods, he dragged his mother’s body towards the surface of the water with his tiny hands.”
The message also included a 29 -second video which led a lot to believe that it was real.

THE video was created in the Uttar Pradesh, India, by a content creator who organized the social media scene. Indian fact verification organizations, including Factly, have confirmed that the clip is not authentic.
In fact, the video woman pretended to drown and later said that it was just a sketch.
On September 8, the woman also published a video Declaration confirming that she was alive and that complaints were false.
