Miami dolphins had a disappointing end in the 2024 season. After failing the playoffs, the misfortunes of the Dolphins continued in the first part of the 2025 campaign.
The start of 0-3 of Miami placed the performance of the quarter-Arrière Tua Tagovailoa under the microscope. The former media personality who has become QB who became Cam Newton is one of those who criticized Tagovailoa.
During one of the episodes last week of “First Take” of ESPN, Newton quoted the extension of the contract of $ 212.1 million in Tagovailoa, $ 212.1 million, during its review of the performance of the pro-Signal Pro Bowl.

“Tagovailoa does more than Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, Jayden Daniels. Am I looking at the pocket? No, I put things in perspective here,” said Newton, the NFL 2015 MVP last week.
“In this case, it should be more money, more expectations. When I see Tago Tagovailoa this year only, I heard it more than ever. It does not mean that you cannot speak. I like the Tia Tua. Alabama Tua. Chip on your shoulder Tua. Not someone who will come and watch a film.”
“What you are paid, what you are asked to do, which you have the capacity, from one quarter to another, I look at the situation like” Come on, Dawg “. Especially when you have a Ferrari and a Lamborghini and other amenities that the other quarters want to have.”
Newton’s comments were then brought to the attention of the Tagovailoa, who suggested that he affirms with much more difficult circumstances than the experts could not give credibility to.

“Well, anyone can play the quarter in this league. I want to see someone in the streets coming to play the quarter-Arrière,” said Tagovailoa. “Cam is doing his thing for sure, but I think it’s easier to be able to hold a click and talk about this in this way or talk about what someone else hurts when you don’t go out and you don’t have to do the same as they.

“I think it’s easy to do it. I think anyone can do it. I don’t think anyone can play a quarter.”
Tagovailoa also recognized that his level of performance was below the standard at which he stands.
For three games this season, Tagovailoa launched five affected and four interceptions. His quarter-arre notation ranks among the bottom of the NFL.
While the Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel knows that there is always room for improvement, he applauded Tagovailoa for his mental tenacity during the struggles on the team’s field.

“The game of a quarter of a franchise is never motionless. … There are opportunities it needs to take advantage,” said McDaniel. “There are also a ton of opportunities to return the ball he did not take. He really answered the bell for 99% of the time.
“He focused on being 1-0 against New York Jets, and that is why I know he is able. And I am delighted to see his next opportunity on which we are working all week because of this, to be focused on good things.”
Tagovailoa has had notable achievements since his editorial staff in total in 2020. He was the chief of the NFL in 2023.
