Lahore:
The Jaffar Express train service remains suspended following the recent derailment, the Pakistani railways continuing repair and catering work on the track and the assigned coaches.
Railway managers have said that rehabilitation of the tracks is underway and should be completed soon. Once the line was declared in shape, a test will be carried out before resuming the full operations.
The rake of the train has already been moved from Lahore to Sibi station, but the services will remain suspended until the track is completely cleared and the derailed coaches were brought back to the track.
