In recent years in the NFL, the quarters that the teams have led have found new teams and prospered.
Geno Smith relaunched his career with the Seattle Seahawks, Baker Mayfield with the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay, Sam Darnold with the Vikings of Minnesota, and this year, Daniel Jones with the Indianapolis colts.
The Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles told PK Press Club Digital that he does not surprise him that the veteran quarters succeed with a different team after having had trouble at the start.

“No, it doesn’t surprise me to see quarters to leave the teams where they have had trouble and are successful in another organization. Not all organizations take place like the Chiefs of Kansas City or the Philadelphia Eagles or the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens, these first teams which were quite solid for a while,” told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview.
Foles has cited the leadership of owners and coaches staff being good teachers as signs of a large team.
“The leadership descending from the property, just buy and have excellent GMs and excellent coaches. Everyone must always get along? No, but they have to be great their work. So, the thing I have always seen was really solid, built an excellent cloakroom, and the coaches were great teachers,” said Foles.
“The best teams I was, the coaches were great teachers. When I was with the Kansas City chiefs in 2016, incredible teachers, when I was with the Eagles in (2017),” said Foles. “Great teachers of the game, then a cloakroom who buys there.”
Foles mentioned the Giants of New York as a team that has had trouble and made the success of the success that Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones have since left the organization.
“I mean, the giants showed the year after year that they have trouble. They try to understand it, look at what happened with Saquon Barkley going to Philadelphia, everyone said:” Oh, he was injured here, he is not what he was, he ages. “He becomes the best NFL player,” said Foles.

“Daniel Jones goes to the Indianapolis colts, wins the starting work, and it is a guy who corresponds to the Shane Steichen system. He can perform it, he can repair the protections, he can check the game when he has to be checked, he does it at a large level.”
The Bowler Pro One Time said that if an organization is stable, it allows a quarter to focus only on football.
“Why I say that these quarters go to better situations where they are able to play the quarterrier and everything around them is quite solid, and they will simply do their thing.”
The former teammate of the Foles Eagles, Carson Wentz, started for the Vikings of Minnesota in place of the wounded JJ McCarthy and praised him for the way he played in the victory of the 48-10 team against the Bengals of Cincinnati during week 3.
“I still love to see these quarters of moving in different teams and succeed. Guys like Carson Wentz, playing with Minnesota yesterday. My subject last week was that Carson was going to have an excellent game because Minnesota is a solid franchise,” said Foles.
“He went there and did his job, he did not have to run and do crazy things, he just did his job and his team took care of the rest, so I am excited for these QB who are in healthy situations.”

Foles played 11 seasons in the NFL and had an overview of the first hand how the different teams operated, because it played for six different teams. He played five seasons with the Eagles (two different stays), one season with the ST at the time. Louis Rams, one with the Chiefs of Kansas City, two with the Chicago Bears, one with the Jacksonville jaguars and one with the Indianapolis colts.
He was appointed MVP of the Super Bowl LII for his incredible performances with the Eagles in their victory of the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.
Through 71 games (58 departures), Foles had a record of 29-29 with a percentage of career completion of 62.4%, launching for 14,227 yards and 82 affected with 47 interceptions.
