- Nvidia’s blackwell super GPUs can arrive later than the previous rumor
- Fresh gossip suggest that they will not make their debut before March and May 2026
- The previous chatter indicated that these GPUs could present themselves at the end of 2025, or to these 2026
NVIDIA RTX 5000 super refreshments for its Blackwell GPU range would now arrive much later than expected before.
According to Benchlife, a Taiwanese technological site (via Videocardz), Nvidia probably envisages a launch in the first or second quarter of 2026 for the RTX 5080 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super and RTX 5070.
A recent chatting on the vine had suggested that a launch of these 2026 could be in the cards, just at the beginning of next year – others have suggested even earlier than that (I will come back under this shortly) – but Benchlife estimates that these super refreshments will not make its debut and between March and May 2026.
The technological site also emphasizes that no graphics card manufacturers has yet received official details on the GPUs RTX 5000 Super, which means that they are still a way from afar – and that Nvidia has not yet made the decision to launch the timing itself.
According to previous rumors, the RTX 5080 Super should take charge on VRAM up to 24 GB, just like the RTX 5070 Ti Super – with the RTX 5070 Super itself said it has a serious boost to 18 GB of video memory.
Analysis: contradictory rumors (again)
As mentioned earlier, some theories have recently been launched that Nvidia’s super refreshments will be here before next year – in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to Youtuber Moore’s law is dead. Now, this had a warning in this team that Green could wait a little longer in one case, namely the RTX 5080 Super which, according to the Youtuber, could be postponed in the first quarter of 2026.
Now, we have a much darker prediction that we will have the chance to see one of these refreshments of Blackwell from Nvidia in the first quarter of next year (we can always do it, however – almost).
Who to believe? Well, it’s up to you to decide, and you will find people online who will be more skeptical about these two sources (or even to remove contempt). I would take benchlife with more seasoning than Moore’s law is dead, personally, but it’s just my opinion. What we have to look for are better known leaks that come out and support deadlines, which will add weight to one or the other of these claims.
Technically, we cannot even be sure that the RTX 5000 super refreshments are on the horizon, but that makes sense, because it follows the typical Nvidia roadmap with a given generation of GPU.
The major increases – up to 50% in accordance with rumors – would certainly be welcome for these Blackwell models, in particular the RTX 5070, which is seriously underestimated with its 12 GB VRAM swimming pool. The RTX 5070 Super 18 GB would be in a powerful position to attack the RX 9070 XT of AMD if it is heard as rumors.
This RDNA 4 Desktop graphics card is considered an excellent offer, although it suffers from inflated prices since the launch of the GPU, which has been disappointing for PC players. Finally, price labels seem to approach the PDSF, at least in the United States – where you can recover an RX 9070 XT for $ 650 currently (the recommended price is $ 600).
The RTX 5070 Super would be entering $ 600, but there is a chance that Nvidia could be less than $ 550 – which would be a truly aggressive (and welcome) decision to which AMD would surely be forced to answer.
