The Pakistani army has successfully launched its new FATAH-4 development, a cruise missile launched on the ground, at a range of 750 kilometers. The missile, developed in an indigenous manner, was tested Tuesday and is equipped with advanced plane and aid to advanced navigation, according to the media wing of the army, inter -service public relations (ISPR).
FATAH-4 is designed to escape enemy anti-missile defense systems due to its field collection capacities, guaranteeing great precision when the targets are committed. The characteristics of the missile improve its lethality and its survival, strengthening the effectiveness of the conventional missile systems in Pakistan.
“As part of the Rocket Force army command, Fatah-4 will further improve the scope, letters and survival of conventional missile systems in the Pakistani army,” said the ISPR press release.
Military leadership and observers
Today’s launch has brought together senior military officials, including the Chief of the General Staff, as well as high-ranking officers from the Pakistan Armed Forces. The event also saw the presence of dedicated scientists and engineers who have contributed to the development of the missile.
In response to the successful test, President Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman of the Committee of Joint Staff, and the Pakistan heads of services have congratulated the troops, scientists and engineers involved in the launch.
