- Pexar’s stars light is a digital photo frame with wall light
- The complete 15.6 inch HD touch screen is calibrated by color, with an anti-glare finish
- There are 64 GB of internal storage, and photos can be downloaded remotely
Better known for external discs and memory cards, Lexar was a new name in digital photo frames when he launched his sub-march PEXAR and delivered the superb 11-inch digital photo frame in 2024 (it now resides in our best photo frame guide). Now Pexar has expanded its range with a new innovative addition.
Not only is the Pexar Starlight, with a complete 15.6 -inch complete touch screen, but it offers wall lighting first: industry. You can consult the images below to get an idea of the appearance of the daylight frame with its anti-glare finish, more in a Dingier environment, where it really comes to life with its gallery style lighting.
The looks are compatible with digital photo frames – both the quality of the display and the finish of the frame. The light of the stars looks higher level, with a wood grain finish, canvas -shaped mats and unique wall lighting.
There are several ways to download images in the frame (JPEG / PNG / Webp or Stills Heic, MP4 or 3GP videos): via a memory card, a flash or wireless reader, using the companion application, which works remotely from anywhere.
There are also 64 GB of integrated storage, which is sufficient for 80,000 images 1920x1080p. The frame can be mounted wall or rested on a buffet using smooth metal support, in vertical or horizontal format.
Is it still worth it?
In a sense, digital photo frames may feel an old hat given how most people look at the photos on their phones these days. However, I offered one to my parents and I know how much they appreciate it, in particular the new occasional photos that appear on the frame of their grandchildren, downloaded from me, in several hours on the road.
A high quality digital frame can really allow your photos to shine, especially one like the light of the 15 -inch stars. That said, personally, I think that the size of the display is a slightly clumsy average ground: a little too small for a wall and a little too large for a coffee table. However, I expect the Pexar Starlight to be a success, especially in the head of the Christmas holidays.
Pexar Starlight should be sold on November 6, 2025, and there is currently an early discount of $ 100 for those who record interest by this link. I have no American / United Kingdom or Australia pricing at the time of writing, but expect it to be more expensive than the 11-inch frame which sells $ 180 /150 £. I will update this article when I have the details.
Come back for my full examination of the frame which is also in the pipeline – if the 11 -inch Pexar frame is something, I expect good things.
