Miami Hurricanes quarterrier, Carson Beck, spoke of his breakup with the former female basketball star Hanna Cavinder on Wednesday while the team is preparing to face Florida State.
Beck was still with the Bulldogs of Georgia when he started going out with the basketball player who became influencer of social media. He was transferred to Miami after the 2024 season, but the two separated in the spring before the start of the Hurricanes football season.

He had not talked about the end of their relationship. Cavinder shared in April that they had broken.
“You make mistakes as a person, but it fears that you have to go through something like that with someone who is close to your heart, and now it’s everywhere on the internet,” he told ESPN. “Half of what you see in the media is true. Half of what you see is not true. So people choose their side of history and run with it. The people who know the truth know the truth. But it was difficult.”
The two would not have spoken since the breakup.
Cavinder spoke of the split while speaking to President Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump.

“He has, would like to return people to the bar, and I would be embarrassed,” she said. “So I broke with him, and all this cheating s — came out. I had no idea.
“I did not break with him because he cheated. I broke with (him) because of whom he was.”
Beck now focuses on football. He admitted to ESPN that the tests and the tribulations he had experienced in the past year had changed the way he approached his personal objectives.
“I was able to connect more to myself and find who I am, and really do soul research,” he said. “It is difficult to say that I am grateful for everything, but I am because I would not be the person I am today without all these things that have happened.”
