Alarming financial figures of the National Highway Authority (NHA) were also reported in the National Assembly, showing that the organization had undergone losses of RS13.65 Billions in the past five years.
The breakdown of annual deficits included RS2.54 Billions in 2021, RS1.68 Billions in 2022, RS4.13 Billion in 2023, RS3,18 Billion in 2024 and RS3.10 Billion in 2025. During this period, the total NHA income reached only 15 billion rupees.
