The Houston CJ Stroud Texans quarters played in less than three complete seasons in the NFL.
Stroud celebrated his 24th birthday on Friday, and he already seems to live the harmful effects of the game in the league. On Thursday, Stroud was asked about the methods he incorporated into his daily diet which help him stay in an optimal physical condition.
Stroud then talked about his diet and remain consistent with the exercise. But he raised his eyebrows when he compared his current sporting capacity to his life as a high school football star.

The offensive recruit of the year of 2023 informed journalists that he had the impression of “aging”.

While Stroud noted that he had made progress in his food and stretching, he also thinks that he has lost a step.
“From where I think explosivity has just been better in my diet, to be better with stretching. I have the impression of age. I am not as fast as I was,” said Stroud smiling. “I watched my high school stuff a few days ago. I was like 180 (books) and I was riding, but not more. But, yes, I try to be better with these things so that I can run fast.”

Stroud, the second overall selection of the NFL 2022 draft, is listed at 220 pounds – a gain of 40 pounds of its weight in high school.

Although the drop in Stroud’s athletics is questionable, the production of the young signator has dropped since his recruit season outside competition.
For four games this season, Stroud launched four affected and three interceptions. It finished 2024 with 3,727 yards by the pass, 20 affected and 12 interceptions.
Stroud’s recruit season ended with 4,108 yards by the pass, 23 affected and five interceptions. The Texans qualified for the playoffs during each of the first two seasons of Stroud.
