It’s true, the version of the alternative universe of Auggie Smith – I will call it Auggie II from now – Dies in PeacemakerThe last episode.
Some fans had predicted that Auggie II would meet its end before the end of the second season of the HBO Max Show. After all, he lives in a reality, a nicknamed Earth-2 / Earth-X, where the Nazis won the Second World War. It is a wild theory of fans that viewers have since Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 3, which was confirmed when the truth about Earth-2 was revealed in Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 6.
But, there are more upcoming big twists and turns. While “like a Keith in the night” reaches his highest point, he revealed that Auggie II is not a white supremacist. He says so much during an incredibly tense conversation between him, Keith Smith II / Captain Triumph, Chris Smith / Peacemaker of the DCU, Emilia Harcourt and John Economos. Auggie II says that he does not agree with the functioning of his world, before admitting that he does not have the strength to fight each injustice of his reality, which clearly affects an agreement with the contingent of the DCU.
In addition, Auggie II is even ready to let this last trio return to their universal universe. It is despite the Smith of the DCU which kills its variant Earth-2, alias the other son of Auggie II, and the furious reaction of Keith II to the very idea that Auggie II does not take revenge on the man who killed his youngest child.

It is the unexpected and rational position of Auggie II on everything above, which then happens more tragic.
While delivering his speech in charge of the group, the two versions of Adrian Chase / Vigilante crash through one of the windows of the household of Earth-2. Ignorant that Auggie II leaves Smith, Harcourt and Economos disappears, the vigilante I (that is to say the variant DCU) jumps on Auggie II and the dagger to death.
The land x Auggie Smith is such a great criticism of central and passive politics. He may not be a Nazi but he “does what he can” while accepting that he lives in a fascist world. He is disgusted by the Nazis but not enough to fight them and abandon his literal / rich manorOctober 3, 2025
In the following chaos, Keith attacks Chris as the group tries to escape through the interdimensional portal of the Library of the Maison de la Terre-2 Smith. While Keith is preparing to shoot Chris on the head, however, Eagly attacks Keith, which gives the gang the opportunity to team up and attack Keith while a Chris Gelée emotional watch.
Not wanting to see his older brother, although the variant of an alternative universe, die once again – remember, Chris accidentally killed Keith in the DCU when they were still children – he cries “Stooooop!”, Who shocked the group to stop their attack.
“What’s wrong with us!”, Adds Chris, before shouting: “What is the F ** K with all of us!?” While his allies are looking in amazed silence. Having a seriously injured Keith, a Chris with tearful eyes says: “I’m sorry … I’m so sorry for sorry! It’s me … All I touch … It’s not your world that is bad or mine … it’s me”, before decomposing completely.
During the hours that followed the broadcast of the last episode of the DCU television series, the fans went to social networks, the Reddit and the forums to comment on the death of Auggie II, the sequence of increasingly heavy events that follows, and the emotionally powerful game of John Cena.
“Chris’s breakdown struck me so hard emotionally, I cry,” wrote Redditor Ryham5. “The best episode of the show, bar none.”
“John Cena became a big actor, his breakdown scene was incredible,” said Comptish-17, while Gillgruntfan53 wrote: “Rip Blue Dragon, you were too good for this world.”
Crazycraft24 also estimated: “I did not expect to feel bad for the death of Auggie Smith!”, Before Dirtysocks53 published: “The first five minutes were hilarious, the environment had a great action and the end made me feel like crying”, and the petuniateer said: “It was perhaps my favorite episode of the series but I am emotionally.

On Resetera, the User Madlaughter wrote: “This episode went from 6.5 / 10 to a 10/10 once the vigilante jumped out this window. Jesus Christ”, while Shrennin said: “Cena acts in this episode was absolutely phenomenal.
Meanwhile, the jaded photographer posted: “Earth X Auggie being a better person than the other was not on my bingo card” before Kalbalboa wrote: “Fantastic episode. I shouted once on my television, and I did not do that for years. Damnit, vigilant! Chris” stops “hurt me, like someone who lost a brother.”
Of course, there is a lot of discussions on what the final montage of this episode is implementing for the final of next week. Based on said editing and teaser of episode 8 of season 2, I will offer my reflections on what could happen in another article. In the meantime, let me know what you thought of “like a Keith in the night” in the comments.
