A farce of an agreement

With a bunch of mounting scandals, each more horrible than the other, it is terribly difficult to decide with what to start with. From the alleged plan to put an end to the Gaza conflict at the Commonwealth Observer Group report, which was made public after a criminal delay of more than 18 months, to the episode of Shama Junejo, it seems that the unconstitutional and illegitimate government is finally disentangled.

The Trump plan for a colony in Gaza is mainly an attempt to legitimize the genocide. He has already taken over 65,000 lives, including children, born and still people in their mother’s uterus. The brutal and barbaric Israeli military assault, extending to almost two years now, has reduced the whole band into tentacular rubble without any distinction between work areas and residential neighborhoods.

Without mentioning the attacker and if he would be required to take into account this unprecedented genocidal perpetration, no plan to set up a Palestinian state and no thought given to relief and a respite for a referred and besieged people, the whole exercise appears as a neo-colonial adventure aimed at sculpting a lethal presence in the region to put it in permanent possibility.

The capitulation of all Muslim leaders in the region is the subject of an acute audience examination and it seems that no one will escape an indictment. How could we agree with a plan that does not guarantee the rights of the Palestinian people to their own independent state, and how, even in their indescribable misery, could they challenge the draconian agreement in a certain period of stipulated time or to prepare for total annihilation? Is the awareness of the world dead? And why did Muslim leaders sold their souls?

Accepting the Trump plan by the Pakistani government alongside the praise of its architect is spraying salt on the wounds of the Palestinian people and all those who fought heroically for an independent state in matters of inalienable law. The world, including the United States, through an agreement or another, has applied its approval for a Palestinian state in the past, on which he is now in the process of compensation.

And imagine: a Tony Blair, a person who should be in The Hague confronted with charges for having committed heinous crimes against humanity for his role in the war in Iraq at the request of the United States, was proposed as head of the international transitional authority of Gaza. Obviously, never being the only one with a minimum of consciousness to guarantee human rights, it appears as an appropriate choice among the criminals aligned to pursue the genocidal wave against the Palestinian people. Commenting on the proposed appointment, someone said in a recent television program that this choice only reveals that Satan was not available for the position.

We understand that because of the policies that the State has exercised in recent years, it is essential that it has obtained Western support, in particular that of the United States. But, in doing so, he must also think that by making strategic compromises of considerable proportions, his own sovereignty and independence will be tested seriously in the coming times. This is what history teaches us, but it seems that we are reluctant to learn from it and that we are currently committing to raising a castle on imaginary stories to be the favorite partners of this harmful match plan.

The reason why the State behaves in an embarrassing submerged manner can be attributed to the content of the Commonwealth Group report Observer Group on the general election of Pakistan of February 8, 2024. It was released after criminal waste of more than 18 months, and that also only when its content was disclosed by the drop site. The Telegraph reported the news like “the Commonwealth helped the Pakistani electoral rigging”. The report only confirms its worst fears about how the elections were seriously and manifest to the advantage of certain parts, with an apparent intention to keep the most popular party and its leader beyond power.

In addition to making recommendations to carry out a complete overhaul of the Pakistan Electoral Commission and its functioning in various spheres, the report lists numerous critical measures taken to unfairly disadvantage a part. This encompasses the problems of the entire electoral process during the in-depth phases, the ballot and post-electoral day. It is a deadly accusation act of the entire electoral process.

The group considers as a fallacious concept that security must be made to the detriment of democracy. This also explains that: there must be a clearer demarcation between military and civil authority in accordance with the constitution of the country and international law. That political parties and all state bodies, including soldiers, must establish new rules of engagement which guarantee the sacred nature of democratic institutions and processes, regardless of the limits of political maneuvers. And that the judiciary should be able to act without external pressure.

The report also listed dozens of steps that have interfered with the holding of free and transparent elections in the country. These are linked to the restriction of fundamental political rights, limiting the capacity of the PTI to contest the elections fairly, the pre-electoral stages having an impact on the concept of a playing domain, including the non-allocation of the Bat symbol, the candidates of the PTI, limiting journalistic freedoms, in particular in relation to the discourse and the granting of impunity to the authors of the culture of the violation and of the disappearance and detention reported of the members of the PTI with periods of the violation and the disappearance and the reported resignation of the members of the PTI with periods of violation and to disappear it.

The closure of mobile phones on the evening of the elections and control of the state of the ruling party on the media have considerably reduced the equity of the electoral process and had an impact on the effectiveness of the supply of the results, which may have compromised the credibility, transparency and inclusion of the electoral process. A multitude of divergences between the results of the polling stations of the polling stations and the results of the constituency were noted, which may have illegally brought back certain candidates.

It is a report as to a report as any. After his release, the fraudulent elections of February 8 are stripped of each lamb of credibility and legitimacy. The state is naked in the courtyard of the people whose mandate has stolen to hoist a bunch of favorites in the seats of power. Pakistan is poorer for this coarse act of fraud, deception and deception.

Manipulation in the context of weakness outside. It’s a moment for serious introspection. In the absence of political and consistent economic and strategic stability, can Pakistan afford to continue to slip into the precipice? It is necessary to think of a repair strategy. It is necessary to face the reality that the existing manufactured system, without a minimum of legitimacy, cannot support the challenges that are looming. An urgent and significant change has become vital before irremediable damage is accumulated.
