The Indian forces killed and injured several goats near Zero Point, the crossing of the base, in the district of Tharparkar, in the Sindh, in what the farming owners denounced as an “brutal act of aggression” which even targeted innocent animals.
According to the owners, the incident occurred last night in the village of Sunrani in Dehly Tehsil. They said that in such situations, cattle are generally returned, but this time the animals were brutally attacked.
At least five goats were killed while the legs of 15 others were broken, said the owners, adding that the injured goat legs had been cut with a pointed tool.
The incident occurs among the increased tensions between Pakistan and India following the four-day armed conflict in the context of terrorist attacks in Jammu-et-Cachemire of Indian origin (IIOJK).
